About
My counseling approach is grounded first and foremost in the Word of God. I believe that our bodies and minds are intentionally created, and that lasting change is possible through a holistic approach that honors both. In our work together, we will focus on healing not only the mind, but also the body, recognizing the deep connection between the two. As physical and neurological patterns are addressed, clients often experience greater overall well-being, along with increased capacity for lasting emotional and psychological growth. As your counselor, I bring three decades of clinical experience, training, and personal testimony into the therapeutic process. I am committed to serving you with professionalism and integrity while continually pointing toward the ultimate source of wisdom and healing—the Wonderful Counselor.
My Goal as a Christian Counselor
One of my primary goals as your counselor is to help you understand the dynamic relationship between your body and brain so you can identify and address what may be hindering your ability to experience peace and joy in any circumstance. I also seek to support you in learning to navigate life anchored in your relationship with the Lord, who is the true source of lasting healing and hope.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
I provide a respectful and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel at ease sharing your story. I listen carefully to your experiences and concerns as we work together to discern a thoughtful and effective path forward, guided by the Lord’s wisdom. As a Christian therapist with three decades of experience, I integrate clinical expertise with a faith-based perspective. Through prayerful consideration and professional discernment, I seek to understand the root causes of your concerns and apply therapeutic approaches that are both effective and aligned with your individual needs.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
My faith and relationship with God are the foundation of my counseling practice. I believe that God created the body and mind to work in harmony, and that both play a vital role in how we experience and respond to life. In my work, I integrate a Christ-centered perspective with an understanding of neuroscience and underlying pathology. This includes recognizing how trauma, stress, and life experiences can shape patterns within the brain and body that influence thoughts, emotions, and behavior. As we work together, we will seek to bring the body and mind into greater alignment both physiologically and spiritually. By addressing these patterns and restoring balance, clients are better able to experience meaningful growth and a deeper sense of peace rooted in their relationship with God.
