About
My approach is deeply rooted in the belief that the quality of our relationships, both with others and with God, profoundly shapes our emotional and spiritual well-being. My goal is to assist you in deepening your understanding of yourself and your relationship with God while addressing the challenges and struggles you may be facing. Therapy is a safe space where we can explore the “why” behind your distress. With His help and guidance, it is possible to experience growth, healing, and overall improved quality of life.
My Goal as a Christian Counselor
My goals as your counselor are to help you identify the root of what is keeping you from living the life you want to live and having the relationships you desire. I utilize evidence-based approaches through a Christian worldview to deepen your awareness of why you are struggling. Clients who work with me will gain coping skills, cultivate hope and resilience, experience holistic healing, and deepen their relationship with God.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
Within a safe and confidential environment, we will work at a pace that allows trust to be built while helping you process your thoughts, feelings, and struggles. I offer compassionate, empathetic support as we explore the narrative of your life. Together we will establish goals to direct the therapeutic process. Some therapeutic goals might include enhanced coping strategies, increased self-understanding, improved relationships, better problem-solving skills, increased resilience, stress reduction, enhanced self-esteem and confidence, and spiritual formation.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
As a Christian counselor, I believe we are not just physical or psychological beings but also spiritual. I offer a comprehensive framework for addressing emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being. Utilizing a non-judgmental approach, I invite clients to co-create a space to experience support, empathy, and tools to navigate life’s challenges. Given that we are all at different junctures in our walk with God, the client will direct how and when their faith is integrated into the therapeutic process.
